Lemons have been traditionally used in home-made cold and flu remedies we have been told to drink honey and lemon at the first signs of a cold or flu being well known as an immune system booster. However, there is so much more to this little fruit than meets the eye.
Lemons are chock full of vitamins and nutrients good for all round body health. Whole Lemon Recipe
1 whole organic lemon
8oz water
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
10-12 drops of stevia (natural sweetener)
Wash the lemon cut up into chunks and place in a blender along with water and ACV. Blend until a thick liquid, about 30 seconds. Pour into a glass and add the stevia to taste. Make sure you consume through a straw as the acidic nature of this mixture can damage your tooth enamel.
